I have searched and all that I have found to look for is that I should check the wiring for bare wires/ double ground wires. I installed Defi blue racer gauges (volt, boost, water temp., oil pressure), 2 AEM Wideband O2 sensors and Apexi AFC & Boost controller. I installed the gauges first and made sure that the illumination worked when I turned on the lights. And everything was great! Then I installed the AFC and Boost Controller and put the dash back in the car and then the battery died so I charged the battery and started the car. When I turned the lights on to drive it, all I got was high beams and I keep blowing the 10amp fuse under the dash.
I have looked at all the wires everything is connected right from what I can tell and the gauges are still working but the illumination is not and none of the dash lights are working. I have checked the headlight bulbs and they are fine. I have taken the headlight fuse out and checked if the problem was in the headlights and its not. I have checked the CD player wires but wires are installed great. Everything was working fine until the battery died and the dash was back in the car. I have checked the wires on the ECU and they are installed correctly. I don’t know what else to do but I am about to take everything out of the car and re-install everything.
